Dredge monitoring system
There is always an obstacle to the uncertainty of the dredging location and access to the desired depth in ponds. So far, all excavator control operations in these activities are possible by traditional methods, including coastal signs, and in better and newer methods, using the establishment of a surveyor on the beach and surface guidance and coordination by coastal signs or wireless, and Simultaneously with marking on the arm (stick) of the excavator, the depth is determined, which is a very time-consuming, costly and inaccurate task. For example, the calibration of the shovel arm has a relative accuracy until this arm is completely perpendicular to the water, so in the designed device, by installing angle sensors on the shovel arms, the angles are determined with high accuracy at 5 measurements per second, and then by having and introducing the lengths and using trigonometric relations, the exact depth and position of the bucket is determined. The result of combining this information with satellite positioning systems is the justification of the float and mechanical shovel and its components in the maps. This system can be installed on a variety of dredgers and has been installed and operated on 12 dredgers in the country.
This system enables you to monitor and track dredging operations for hoppers, cutters, and other types of dredgers. It also allows you to monitor the position and depth of the dredging tool instantly on the screen, which includes a pre-prepared map, and the bed information is updated by changing the depth, allowing you to access the volume and surface of the dredged area and it provides a variety of reports.
